The Columbus Crew approached Rooted in 2021 as they were rebranding and opening a brand new stadium. They felt their content was falling behind the league standard and wanted to give everything a nice refresh. From photo, video, product design and experiential - there isn’t much Rooted has not been a part of with the Columbus Crew. Rooted has become the Crew's agency of record, executing experiential, design, photo, and video campaigns.
Rooted has designed and fabricated the Pride & Glory World Cup Activation. This included creating the tagline, messaging, and branding for “Discover your Crew.” Which led to one of the most sold-out seasons for the Crew since they started. We have delivered over 5,000 edited photo selects in one season. We pulled off a Lower.com announcement video in one week’s time that helped the Crew grow a relationship into a multimillion-dollar account annually. Most recently we led the event strategy for The Gold Standard Experience influencer event to assist in the Crew jersey launch, which included a t-shirt customization event and content that surrounded them.
