ROOTED CREATIVE AGENCY: OUR HISTORY AND JOURNEY
We aint shy about it — Rooted Creative started with one dude sliding into another dude’s DMs. Yeeeeeah buddy.
All it took was a camera and a vision, and Rooted started to spread in Cincy like hot butter on a biscuit. The guys’ love of photography turned into a fire Instagram page. Then some dope t-shirts. Then a company was born.
Fast forward about 4 years, handfuls of name-brand clients, 13 countries, and 750+ projects later, and you’ve arrived at Rooted Creative. Even as we've evolved to take on commercial branding campaigns and experiential marketing activations, we've stayed grounded in our own Roots – stunning visuals and experiences that give a brand life.
Where will we go from here? We dig deep in our backyard, and let the roots run wide.
Cincy is our home and we’re entrenched. We’re giving back to our community, training up the next generation and care about our neighbors like our fam. Our values keep us grounded and rooted in our mission.
But, like *actual* roots, we’re going wide and branching outside of the Seven Hills. We’ve expanded our capabilities to take on complex creative activations and *literally* have taken the Rooted show on the road with multimedia projects across the country (and world).
Better yet? We’re just getting started.
2017
Things get serious. Michael retires from soccer, Nick drops out of school. An idea turns into a business – Rooted Media House was born.
2019
Finally placing roots, the multifaceted visual crew opens its first office space in downtown Cincinnati.
2016 - Michael slides into Nick's DMs on Twitter to learn how to use a camera. Cincy Rooted Photography Instagram was born. Fans went wild.

With Cincy taking notice, Rooted kicks it up a notch, adding videography to its artistic repertoire. Lights. Camera. Rooted.
2018
Local partners and household names started asking for more than photo or video. We delivered and evolved, in service offering and in name. Enter: Rooted Creative.
