When COVID hit in 2020, it affected everyone, including the local church. Rooted partnered with Queen City Church in Cincinnati, OH to direct, film, edit and produce weekly church services for six months. This included conceptualizing and building out custom sets to keep things visually entertaining while people were stuck at home. Each production involved 5-8 cameras per shoot, and eventually helped keep the church open through the pandemic.
Results
- 24 one-hour-long church services produced
- 100,000+ Live streams
- Helped provide a smooth transition back to in-person services where an online option started to be offered in addition to in person
- People from 30+ states viewed the church live streams
