Tailgreeter (a marketplace that gives fans access to tailgates everywhere they go) purchased the title sponsorship for the Cure Bowl in Orlando, FL on December 17, 2021. The Cure Bowl is a College Football Bowl game played at Exploria Stadium and owned by ESPN Events.

Tailgreeter approached us aiming to create an impactful and authentic pre-game tailgate, outside the stadium. This tailgate had the expectation to have somewhere between 2,000 to 3,000 people attending. Our marketing team worked on creating brand awareness for their ideal target customer by curating and hosting the tailgate. From working on the brand strategy to the setup and breakdown of the brand activation activities, Rooted played a big part in it from beginning to end.

Results

Rooted Creative took over Church street and hosted 2,000+ people at the Tailgreeter fan fest in Orlando, FL before the Cure Bowl. Leading up to the event our team hired, trained, and managed 30 staff to man the tailgate. Our marketing team incorporated various interactive activities such as an on-site photo booth, cornhole stations, branded giant Jenga sets, and other activities to drive hundreds toward the event.

In creating the strategy, set up, and break down, we were able to partner with Deepy Eddy Vodka for a full bar set-up and local BBQ service with 600+ VIPs. We also created content for a handful of broadcasters, social platforms, and in-stadium advertising.
