The Race Street Open is back and we're pulling out all the stops! The competition is tougher. The stakes are higher. Oh, and with a brand new location, we are getting more creative than ever.

Date: Saturday, May 21, 2022
Time: 9:00 AM start for Open Division, 11:00 AM start for Elite Division, 1:00 PM start for Team Relays.
Cost: $75 per person
Team Relay Cost: $200 total for co-ed team of 4 (2 Men, 2 Women, $50.00 per person) *This does not include Early Bird pricing.
All entries Include admission to The OpenChampionship, a Free T-Shirt, and Sponsor Swag. Each participant can compete in both the Individual and Team Relay competitions!
What is Race Street?
Race Street Athletics was founded as a way to enhance community and utilize physical fitness as a way to empower people. We believe that there is an athlete in everybody. The Race Street Open is built to push people to their limits and put their fitness to the test. Created by former professional athletes and operated by a full-scale creative agency, the Open is the perfect combination of competition and creativity.
We believe that this, sprinkled with a good challenge and topped with community, is the recipe for a premium fitness event.
Designed to be a full experience for both participants and spectators alike, the Race Street Open showcases the unique terrain of each event location.
Participants will face a number of circuit-based cardiovascular and strength exercises. From sandpit bear crawls to lakeside dam climbs and beyond, the possibilities are as endless as the competition is challenging. A champion will be crowned in the men's, women's and team divisions.

Time: 9AM - 4 PM (Full schedule below)
Individual Cost: $60 for the first 20 entries, $75 for all the rest.
Team Relay Cost: $160 total for first five teams of 4 (Two Men and Two Women, $40.00 per person) ; $200 total for the next 15 teams of 4 ppl.
All entries include: Participation in the Race Street Open, Race Street Open T-Shirt, Sponsored Swag Bag, and more to come!

9:00 am-9:30 am – Open Division Run-Thru
9:30 am-11:00 am – Open Division
11:00 am-11:30 am – Open Division Trophy Presentation and Elite Division Run-Thru
11:30 am-1:00 pm – Elite Division
1:00 pm-1:30 pm – Elite Division Trophy Presentation and Team Relays Run-Thru
1:30 pm-3:30 pm – Team Relays
3:30 pm-4:00 pm – Team Relays Trophy Presentation
Participants can compete in Individual and team relays.
Entry fees are non-refundable. Better Together
The individual competition is the same as always. Finish the circuit as fast as you can. And for the second time, Race Street Athletics is bringing back team relays taking place after the individual competition. Team Relays will all go as part of one event level.
In similar fashion to a track relay, each team member will be required to complete each part of the course, one at a time, until all four members have crossed the finish line. All teams are co-ed and require two men and two women.

THE TEAM RELAY IS A CO-ED COMPETITION. TEAMS MUST CONSIST OF TWO MALES AND TWO FEMALES. INDIVIDUALS WILL COMPLETE THE COURSE AND THEN TAG THEIR NEXT TEAMMATE IN. SIMILAR TO A 4X400TRACK RELAY FORMAT. THERE WILL BE SCALED VERSIONS OF THE COURSE FOR MALES AND FEMALES.
ANY HIGH INTENSITY INTERVAL TRAINING WILL BE HELPFUL. ANYTHING THAT COMBINES ENDURANCE AND STRENGTH TRAINING. WE RECOMMEND JOING OUR FREE COMMUNITY WORKOUTS SATURDAY MORNINGS AND GETTING PLUGGED IN WITH A LOCAL FITNESS FACILITY THROUGHOUT THE WEEK.
